With a passion for the Gospel and compassion for all people,
Calvin’s ministry has touched Antigua, Jamaica, Ghana,
Kenya, Canada, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and
Finland. In addition to numerous recordings, television and
radio appearances, he is composer of Gospel Music favorites,
I Can Go To God In Prayer, Chosen and (Grammy nominated)
Spread The Word. Calvin is the recipient of two of the Gospel
Music industry’s most coveted Stellar Awards.
He established, Chicago Praise Ministries (CPM), and Chicago
Praise Ensemble, which has appeared with him in London, Paris,
myriad cities in Italy, Switzerland and at The 1996 Olympic
Games in Atlanta, Georgia. CPM is also active in education
